Woodside Denture Centre Services

Dentures can help whether you are missing a few or all of your teeth. We can make your dentures look as natural as your current teeth or we can change it up if there are things you don’t like about your natural smile. It’s all up to you! Dentures may even improve your look, giving you a more confident smile and filling out the appearance of your face and profile.

There are several types of dentures available and their cost varies depending on the materials used and the necessary steps needed to make them.

Denture Services Alberta

Relines

Unfortunately, the longer you wear dentures, the more your gums change beneath and the looser they get. In order to restore the retentive qualities of the denture and prevent it from irritating your gums, you should have the denture professionally relined at least every two years.

Permanent Soft Denture Liners

These are resilient or “rubbery” surfaces placed in the denture (usually the lower) to provide a cushion. This cushioning is most often required by people with flattened lower ridges and is done either when new dentures are made or existing ones relined. It should retain in the mouth nicely since the shape of the inside denture base now conforms closely to the shape of the gums.

Denture Repair

Those who wear dentures on a daily basis occasionally experience a broken denture for various reasons including age of the denture, eating hard foods, an accidental fall onto the floor or sink, as well as damage caused by a pet. Denture repair can remedy most broken dentures to a like-new, useful condition where the broken dentures pieces are reconstructed professionally using denture acrylic material.

Woodside Testimonials
Megan and her staff are simply fantastic. I recently obtained my first partial denture and had to add teeth to it. Let’s just say that I have never been happier with my teeth and smile. Megan matched the color perfectly. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for top notch denture work. Thank you so much. I will definitely be back to see you. Judy

After struggling with 2 sets of dentures for my grandmother we took some advice and contacted Woodside Denture Centre. To say these people are amazing is an understatement. They have educated us, taken care of my grandmother and fitted her wonderfully with her new teeth. I wish we had come here years earlier and highly recommend them! Crystal

Woodside Denture Options

Economy Dentures

Conventional dentures are those placed once the bones and gums have healed after the removal of natural teeth (at least 1 year after extractions).

Surgical Dentures

Immediate dentures, as the name implies, are placed as soon as the natural teeth are removed. With immediate dentures, the patient no longer needs to face the world without teeth.

Complex Suction Dentures

Instead of traditional plastic prosthetic teeth, natural looking cosmetic dentures are made with modern five to seven layer composite teeth.

Removable Partial Dentures

A removable partial denture is usually made to replace one or more teeth and is customized to a patient’s specific requirements. Removable partial dentures restore a person’s natural appearance and greatly improve the ability to chew and speak clearly.

Implant-Retained Dentures

Implant-retained dentures are an increasingly popular option for replacing missing teeth rather than conventional bridges or partial dentures. Implants, used in conjunction with an overdenture, provides patients with a fixed denture solution. That’s right, no more Polident or other adhesives! Many patients with implant-retained dentures can eat food they once didn’t think to try and find a greatly increased quality of life.
